Lumene is a Finnish skincare brand founded in 1970. A significant portion of its products is manufactured at its facilities in Espoo, Finland. Its formulas feature ingredients from the pure Nordic (Arctic) nature, such as fresh spring water, wild blueberry, blackcurrant, sea buckthorn and birch sap.

The general order is: Cleanser → Toner → Serum → Eye care → Moisturizer. Always finish your morning routine with sunscreen. In the evening, complete your routine with a moisturizer or night cream.

Apply a few drops after cleansing and toning, before your moisturizer. Since Vitamin C helps brighten the skin and reduce uneven tone, it is generally preferred for morning use — in which case sunscreen must always be applied over it.

The sun's UV rays are among the leading causes of premature aging, dark spots and uneven tone. Using a daytime SPF product is especially important during periods when you use Vitamin C, acids or renewing actives.

Before using a new product, we recommend applying a small amount to a small area (for example behind the ear or the inner arm) and waiting 24 hours (a patch test). If irritation, redness or discomfort occurs, discontinue use.
